In order to get the best results and fastest service please
read the following information.
- Scans. Please ensure the listed information is supplied:
- Colour mode (RGB or CMYK, greyscale, depending
on print type)
- Resolution (300 dpi default, 150 dpi for Photographic,
200 for Epsom Art, 85 dpi for Inkjet)
- Dimensions (mm width by height or generic A4, A3
etc)
- Cropping
- Format (PC or Mac, TIFF, EPS etc)
- Printing. Specify output required - Photographic, Inkjet,
Artprint. Gloss or Matt (Matt printed unless specified
otherwise). Determine resolution (DPI) for placed images.
- Colour Matching and Proofing. Please inform us if colour
matching and proofing is required. All images to have
the respective ICC colour profile attached / embedded
in the file.
- Images. Incorrect colour modes will not print unless
converted, with adequate resolution for output device.
Supply names of linked images in layout programme, with
correct colour mode for output (RGB or greyscale). Tiff
files should not be compressed. We support artwork supplied
in Quark, Illustrator and Indesign.
- Size and quantity. Please supply clear information
on quantity and final size.
- For the best results use RGB for Photographic and Epson
Art Prints, CMYK for Inkjet prints. Pantone colours are
used as guides only, and cannot be matched exactly but
as close as possible
- Print finishing. Please state clearly lamination and
mounting details, as well as any special installation
/ hanging instructions.
- Packing and Delivery. We use regular couriers and charge
accordingly. Please advise if you would like us to use
special couriers. Jobs are packed in card or bubblewrap.
Please specify any special packing or crating and we will
quote to spec.
- All work is handled on the basis that replacement value
is materials only. Please do not send us material requiring
special insurance or treatment before receiving our written
response detailing any special arrangement.
